My mother lived in Oregon and passed awary in February. She owned nothing, her home is being repossed by the bank (takes forever). She has a will which leaves everything to me and my brother. My brother died 6 months before my mother. I'm the sole living relative. My issue is my mother had a IRA worth about $10,000. The beneficary was my brother. The bank says I need to have a small estate affidavit. But I live in MO.
